DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for managing phone calls for the assigned office; refers complaints and concerns with offenders, offender’s families, criminal justice system members and the general public to the appropriate staff. Creates and/or prepares letters, and memos, forms, meeting schedules, reports, etc., using word processing, spreadsheet, and database and/or presentation software. Maintains data logs in established software programs and produces statistical information upon request. Coordinates and schedules meetings as requested; makes all necessary travel arrangements for staff as requested.
POSITION SPECIFIC INFORMATION: Has daily initial contact with offenders, visitors, and others who may be hostile or under the influence of substances.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in Office Administration or Secretarial Science or Executive Assistant, Public Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration and at least three (3) years of job-related experience preferred. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
