Administrative Assistant
Join the MT Youth ChalleNGe team! This position provides assistance and support to the Director and management team. Serves as the first point of contact, manages the phones and office inventory, coordinates mail delivery, provides paper and electronic filing, provides support in planning and organizing special events, and conducts other related activities to support the ongoing operations of the Youth Challenge Academy.
Must have demonstrated ability to work and engage in diverse working environments within and outside the Department.

Qualifications:
Requires: Thorough knowledge of office management procedures, word processing and ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment including a multi-line phone system. Must be skilled in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with MYCA staff and the public. Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Education & experience: One year job-related college or vocational training in business, communications, and/or office technology or two years of experience in bookkeeping, customer service, office management and working with program rules, processes and procedures.
Alternative: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Conditions of employment: This position is subject to random drug or drug and alcohol testing and must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
