Cadre Instructor - Full-time & Part-time

Join the team at the MT Youth Challenge Academy! We are recruiting to fill one full-time and one part-time position, responsible for serving on teams to provide at-risk youth a highly structured, safe environment to develop skills and abilities necessary to become productive citizens. This position is responsible for providing crisis intervention, counseling, physical training and other services and opportunities while ensuring safety and security of the cadets.

Must have demonstrated ability to work and engage in diverse working environments within and outside the Department.

Beginning Pay Rate is $32,053 annually.


Qualifications:


Education: Associates degree or two year post secondary education in leadership, psychology, counseling, military or other closely related field AND

Experience: Two years experience working with youth.

Previous military experience and/or experience working with at-risk youth is preferred.

Alternate: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Conditions of employment: In addition to the above education and experience the successful applicant must:

- possess or be eligible for a valid MT drivers license;

- have a good driving record;

- be able to pass and maintain the National Guard standards for physical fitness.
