ADDITIONAL SALARY AND BENEFIT INFORMATION: This is a TRS Retirement position. Full-time employees earn 15 vacation days, 12 sick days, state holidays, health and dental benefits and life insurance. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Student Support and Academic Enrichment Program Manager will implement the federally funded Title IV Part A Student Support and Academic Enrichment Initiative in Montana through the Montana Office of Public Instruction. The desired applicant will have experience with the tasks required to administer grants, including coordination and facilitation of state level workgroups, implementation of program strategies outlined in the approved grant proposal, oversight of program implementation in local communities funded under the initiative, ensuring program compliance, serving as liaison with federal project officer and state agencies, evaluators, and sub grantees, seek sustainability for the programs and services implemented under this project, oversight of the subgranting process to districts, and leading the process of completing all federal grant reports. With three focus areas including: 1) student health and safety programs, 2) programs that promote a well-rounded education, and 3) the effective use of technology, this position will address the grant administration as well as state level activities and professional development to support these topical areas. Some in state and federal travel will be required. It is estimated there will be out of state travel one to two weeks annually and quarterly travel to designated Montana schools involved in this initiative.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a broad background in education, mental health, substance prevention or treatment, business, public administration or related field. This position requires a minimum of 3 years job-related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
