Accountant
We are looking for an Accountant to perform a variety of accounting and budgeting functions. Responsibilities include preparing various financial reports, ensures compliance of financial activities associated with funding regulations and accounting standards, performing internal audits, examining and analyzing accounting and financial statements, reconciling accounts and researching problem areas. The Accountant performs fiscal year end planning and provides assistance with accounting and financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
The Accountant will need to have a thorough knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP, especially as they relate to governmental Entities, knowledge of accounting systems and a working knowledge of auditing procedures and processes.
Qualifications include a include a bachelor’s degree in public or business administration with an accounting or financial emphasis and three years of experience such as accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and general ledger or other related areas.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
